Polls, surveys, and quizzes remain open by default unless you choose to close them on a preset date or until you close them manually. Opening and closing polls, surveys, and quizzes can be done in two ways. Note that ratings are open, unless you remove them from your website.
In this document, we’ll use a poll as an example, but the process is the same for surveys and quizzes.
When a piece of content is open, you’ll see a green circle next to it in the dashboard:
To close the content, you can click on the green circle. The green circle will turn into a red circle with a line through it, indicating that the content is closed. When a piece of content is closed, that means it can no longer accept participant input, be it votes for a poll or rating, or responses in the case of surveys and quizzes.

If you want to close a piece of content, you can also hover over the title of the content in your dashboard and click on the contextual Actions menu. If the poll is open, you can click on the Close menu item:
