Survey language packs

You can customize the text and language used in your survey to adopt it to a language other than English, or just change the English that we use.

To get started, click on ’surveys’ in the main menu and then choose ‘Survey Languages’. To create a new language pack, click the ‘New Language Pack’ button.

The Edit Survey Language Pack page contains a host of fields that you can edit. These fields correspond to phrases used throughout the survey. The following fields are available to you to edit:

Phrase: ‘Continue’
This phrase is used as the text for the ‘Continue’ button at the bottom of each survey page.

Phrase: ‘Start Survey’
This phrase is used as the text for the ‘Start Survey’ button on the first page of your surveys.

Phrase: ‘Survey Completed’
This phrase is used to tell a respondent they have completed your survey.

Phrase: ‘Survey Error’
This phrase is shown at the top of a survey when a respondent fails to answer some questions correctly.

Phrase: ‘Mandatory Error’
This phrase is shown when a respondent fails to enter a response to a mandatory question.

Phrase: ‘Email Error’
This error is shown when a user fails to enter a valid email address for a question.

Phrase: ‘URL Error’
This error is shown when a user fails to enter a valid URL address for a question.

Phrase: ‘Date Error’
This error is shown when a user fails to enter a valid date address for a question.

Phrase: ‘Close Survey’
This phrase will be shown on the button at the end of a survey to close it.

Apply a language pack to your survey

Once you have created a language pack you can apply it to an existing or new survey. On the Edit Survey page, just look out for the Languages dropdown.
