Installation Steps

1. Extract the plugin and copy the PollDaddy folder to your blogs plugin directory ( /wp-content/plugins/ ).

2. In your blogs dashboard, find the plugins link.

3. Follow this link to all your current plugins.

4. You should see the plugin – PollDaddy Polls… Activate it.

5. You will then see a Polls link in your dashboards menu.

6. Follow the link and you will be asked for your PollDaddy.com email address and password.

7. Enter your login details and press the submit button.

8. You should then see a list of all your blogs polls.

Login Problems

We use a secure connection to send the login request, however some hosts have difficulty with this.
The host will block the request, sometimes returning an error, and the plugin will not install fully.

A way round this, if you don’t mind your logins detail sent over a non-secure connection, is to uncheck the SSL checkbox and re-enter your PollDaddy login details.

If the login still fails, there may be an issue with your host not permitting plugins to communicate with external sites. In this case, you need to contact your host and ask them if they have a whitelist of acceptable sites. If they do, request they add polldaddy.com to this list.
